The young students will have to study their lines vigorously in order to know them well before the grand opening. This is why they will have to attend many dress rehearsals and practice their lines all the time. Only once the producers are happy that everyone is in the right place, will they be needed to come in and do some of the final touch ups. Rehearsing is important and once the actors are ready it is time for the pre- opening show.
It is of course really important that good quality make-up is used so that there are no children that suffer from allergic reactions. The idea of having theater make-up applied can be daunting for the male students. Many of them are in fact quite reluctant to have this done, but nevertheless give in to it and go ahead.
